The basic book that you need in your home

I received this book as a gift from a company who sell me vitamins. It is easy to understand and follow the prescriptions. It describes the treatment for many illness, recomended food, detoxification and also offers alternative cures using aromatherapy, homeopatic and acupressure. I love this book and If were possible I would give it more than five stars.

About the Author
Michael Zigarelli is associate professor of management at Charleston Southern University and former dean of the Regent University School of Business. He holds degrees from Rutgers (Ph.D.), Cornell (M.A.), and Lafayette College (B.A.). His research in management, practical theology, law, and ethics has appeared in numerous scholarly journals and magazines, and he has done interviews with The New York Times, The Washington Post, and TIME. Zigarelli lives with his wife and four children in South Carolina.

The title doesn't fit the content

If you are looking for a book on "Principles of Persuasion" as taught by the philosophies of men you will find this book a good introduction to that topic.

If you are looking for a book outlining the genius in which Jesus spoke and taught, you will not find that content here.

I gave the book a considered try, reading page after page waiting for the topic to line up with the title.
Finally after having read half the book, I gave up.
Scanning through the remaining 2nd half of the book, I concluded with disappoint, that the books title is totally misleading.

I have no idea why the author would have even attempted it.
There are a multitude of books on the subject of "Persuasion" using the philosophies of men, why would an author regurgitate bits and pieces of that, calling it "Influencing Like Jesus"?

Influence with Integrity

A solid foundation in the delicate art of influencing others in a positive, God-honoring way. Too many secular books on influence promote techniques rooted in manipulation or even subtle intimidation. But that's not Zigarelli's approach. He presents the fifteen essential elements of influence in a straightforward, practical format, all ready for immediate application within the bounds of Christian ethics and deep respect for others. This is an excellent resource for everyone who wants to influence with integrity. It was even helpful to me as an experienced lawyer.

I had a great Sunday reading this whole series. I went to be at 4am just because I couldn't put it down.
This series is the MOTHER of all drama. Lord! Nonetheless, I was hooked from the moment I've read the synopsis. I wanted to read another motorcycle club story, and I got this book from the drop down list. Good thing because, the story was really good. Bad for my bank account since I have bought all books, and they are not cheap. Anyways, I do not regret at all.
Book one, was awesome. I was in love with Jagger from the get go. What can I say; I melt for bad ass, tough guys with a big heart. This is the best off the whole series. Not too angstsy, but not too soft either. Willow is introduce right there as a smart mouth, strong, family-friend oriented, not shy at all and with a lot of guts with a loved. The rest of the characters, well, they really felt in the right place.
Book two, I was really excited. It kind of had that dark and twisted vibe, but it didn't get quite there. It was a rollercoaster and definitely, a good continuation of the story.
Book three, it has a lot of twist and turns and although predictable, I wanted to get to the end and see what was going too happened.
Book four, it is completely different...where books 1, 2, 3 where dealing with bad guys, and crazy women, and some other shenanigans...this one is a whole different situation. Dealing with the outcome, with the sorrow, pain and psych! To me it was the least strong of them all; however, it was the most emotional.
The reason that I did not give this series 5 stars, it is because first, it has a lot of grammatical errors; second, it has some down-time, I found myself jumping to some paragraphs. And three, there were some instances that I couldn't understand what was happening because, the scene jumped from one place to another, or from one thing to another and to me, it was not clearly elaborated or explained.
Overall, it was a good series, good characters. I suggest you buy them all together, finish one and keep reading the next. I will definitely looking forward for "DARK LUST" ACE's story.

I jumped right into this one just like the last one. I had to know more. I think that she should put them all together to make one big book, but thats just me. I would have loved to sit and read it from start to finish in one book. BUT, thats just me. :)

I was surprised to say the least at a few things. One would be the one you find out right at the begining. I would say that was the one thing that did leave me to wonder. I know that it has been months since what happens in the last book but at the same time there is no explanation as to why what happened had happened, it is just kind of left out there.

Other than that one part, I would have to say that I absolutely was furious with the boys, then of course they pulled me back in and made me love them all over again. I wanted to also hate Jagger at some points, but just couldn't.
This one is such a rollercoaster of a ride.

Once again we find out something that I have to say I knew right from the get go... :D once it is brought to light I wanted to yell "I KNEW IT, why don't y'all listen to me??"

I do know that there is one man in particular that I wanted to castrate. You will get through most of the book on edge wondering where things are going, how are things going to play out, if what is supposed to happen will actually happen.

I wish I could say more but what I want to say would be a spoiler for anyone who has not read the book.

Bec did it again!! (I totally have a girl crush on her!) Dark Endings is the third and final book of the series and she ended it perfect! But I am so so sad that there is no more Jagger (tear). I will also miss the gang. Ace & Angel had my heart too but not as much as Jagger. One scene Ace brought a tear to my eye. There was so much drama, angst, nail biting, eyes bugged out reading in this series I didn't know what to do with myself! Bec doesn't make you wait long either for these amazing reads. She deserves so much credit for being a wife, mom and making sure her fans are always satisfied! I don't think she sleeps, with all she does! 5+ Stars for this book!!!

Willow was lost and empty and didn't know how to fully move on without Jagger. The gang left her no one wanted to help her and she didn't know where to go from there. Suddenly everything changed and everyone wanted to help.

Go on this journey with Willow, the girls and the gang and see if they can find Jagger and make things right. This is one story you will want to read. Haven't read the series yet GO BUY ALL 3 BOOKS NOW!! You will not be disappointed you will just want MORE JAGGER!

About the Author
Larry Snyder was the chairman of the National Research Council's (NRC) committee that issued the report, "Being Fluent with Information Technology." It is this NRC committee funded by the National Science Foundation that identified the three types of knowledge needed in Fluency. Larry received his BA in 1968 from the University of Iowa and his Ph.D. in 1973 at Carnegie Mellon. He taught at schools such as Yale, MIT, Harvard, and Syndey University before settling down at the University of Washington in 1983, where he is currently a professor of computer science and engineering.

Terrible for learning

This book is terrible. I am taking a class and needed this book. Lucky, for me, I know most of what is in it already. Because I know most of what I have gone over so far, I have to say, if you do not understand how to figure stuff out on your own on-line or know word or excel already, this book will not help. This book will explain how to do something, missing a bunch of critical steps, then tell you to try it. You must then google how to do it. The example that just blew me over the top to even take the time and write this review, is chapters 13 & 14 for excel. It will give you a concept, then tell you to select an option and try the following exercise. In excel, you must know what tab you are supposed to be working under to find the correct option. The page even shows you a picture of what the sheet looks like, but not a picture of the tab selections!! I just can't anymore. I absolutely cannot stand working with this book. I know excel well, and there are a few new things I am learning, but I find more information, on what the book is trying to convey, searching Google to be more helpful! Do not get this book unless it is required for a class. There is reading in it where the instructors do want specific answers from the book. But if you are looking to do this on your own, this is not the book.

Captivated from the first chapter! I loved it! It was fascinating reading about the history of the rum runners and learning what they experienced. May and Eric's love story was both sweet and steamy. A joy to read from beginning to end. Highly recommended!
